So I don't have much to post from this week because all week we have been getting ready for our big Thanksgiving trip. I'm really excited! We are supposed to leave today. Other than that not much happened.
EXCEPT FOR THE OTHER DAY.
So the other day we went to my final drive (yay!) about an hour and a half away. I was so horribly nervous; I couldn't eat and I just felt sick. I passed the drive, even though my instructor tried to get me hit by a car. Of course, it was MY fault (just kidding, it was his). So we drove back triumphant : D.
That evening we had a cook-off activity for church, which I was not looking forward to. I found out that I was on the team with that person I did NOT want to be on a team with. You know the type; bossy, because they know EVERYTHING and nobody's ideas are more important than theirs. Yay! This was going to be a fun night...
We drove to the store with me already in a crappy mood.
*le bored me
The Boss was sitting up front. You know when you dislike someone, everything they do annoys you? Even their voice is like nails on a chalkboard? This person, right here. She is my person. The Boss is sitting in her seat spouting about something when an Adele song comes on. My brother was also on my team, in fact he was team captain but Boss didn't listen to him (SHOCKER). He was a bit upset because she took over the whole operation and there was nothing we could do about it. He spent most of the night in the car.
My brother asked if the song was Skyfall, which it was. He is a big James Bond buff so he was really excited to see the new movie. We confirmed his suspicions, which then caused Boss to go off on another tangent.
"I like Adele's songs," she said, "but her voice is SO annoying." WHAT?! Adele's voice is freaking beautiful! You shut up right now!
*le brother and I after she says this
Let's just say that I was ready for that day to be over.
Thanks for listening to me rant! I'll post as we go along our trip :)
It's going to be fun,
Wanderer
P.S. I've resolved to listen to at least one Adele song everyday. Because I'm passive-aggressive that way :).
